fabulous friday
Hubby had off today. I was thinking, 'Ahhh. I think we'll just relax today... grocery shopping can wait until tomorrow.'
These boys were on board with me. Out in the pj's to go collect eggs. There's nothing like the feeling of putting on your muck boots and running down to the barn on a nice crisp morning in your pj's. Please note the nice fresh farm egg in the big guy's hand. He has been eagerly checking for eggs every 10 minutes in hopes to incubate and add a few chicks to his flock.
BUT... The relaxing didn't last long. Hubby woke up and reminded me he must work on the car tomorrw. Guess we're going shopping today. Lucky me, my aunt needed to go too! Guess where she needed to go.....
The FABRIC STORE!!! YIPEEE!!! Hubby's not a fabric store guy, but I scored these two new prints and a seam ripper today. They're just waiting for a prewash... if only there wasn't so much laundry in line ahead of them. You know, like pj's worn down to the chicken coop. ;)
And this little guy has had to wait yet another day for snaps. Maybe he'll be lucky enough to be the first to receive snaps on the NEW real snap press... that didn't come in the mail yet. That mail man! He just keeps driving right by! Maybe I should leave a sign that says, "Fresh baked COOKIES" outside. Or, better yet, I know he loves spaghetti (he'smyuncle). He always knows when spaghetti is cooking. It's a sixth sense. I'll leave a sign that says, "No snap press, no spaghetti."
